Sterling Silver & Abalone Shell Necklace

This necklace is a showstopper. The pendent, from Mexico,  is crafted from an iridescent abalone shell highlighted by a handmade silver setting with beaded border.  Measuring 1 1/2" L x 5/8" W x 3/16" H, it is marked "925" and "IGUALA"  on the back, and  has been paired with an 18" cube snake chain with spring ring clasp.  Made from from carefully selected, fine vintage sterling silver components.  Total weight is just over 19 grams.
