This adorable panda was part of the Artimus Collection of acrylic creatures designed in the 1970's by Brazilian artist Abraham Palatnik, considered to be one of the pioneers of "Op Art". The use of line and pattern inserted within a curving clear form creates a unique, kinetic 3-D effect. This piece stands a little over 4" tall, is 2 1/2"wide and 7/8" deep. In excellent vintage condition with minimal wear and original foil label "Made In Brazil" still attached. Bamboo not included.
